Who's behind Magic Fingers Graphics?

Hi! I'm Natalie Morrell, a graphic designer with over 10 years, based in Cambridge in the mighty Waikato. I love people's stories. How and what they do, where they go, who they influence. I'm here to help connect and tell those stories, through branding, communications, presence.

I strive to do great design work with integrity and a humble heart. Given the opportunity I will jump at the chance to work on wedding invite stationery and other creative projects, as these are often little nuggets of stories that evolve into amazing things.

Magic Fingers Graphics is a family business that started over 30 years ago. My Dad, Brian Morrell started the business in Auckland. He designed the logo that's still in use today! After growing up with the business around me, it's time to take the reins.

Community over Competition

I'm 100% for collaboration together. Working together creates better outcomes rather than trying to battle who is better. Oftentimes, it'll produce amazing outcomes!

Experience & Education

I started as an in-house graphic designer in 2006, where I designed branding and collateral for startup companies. Since 2008, Hanson Creative has been my main gig.
I studied at the University of Waikato and in 2007, gained a Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design (conjointly awarded with Whanganui School of Design).

I've also got a huge heart for youth and have worked in Canada at Muskoka Woods, a youth camp inspiring others to shape their world - all based in the woods, bordering the edge of a stunning lake.
I spent a month volunteering in Tanzania, Africa in 2015, helping to create two libraries at two schools. An incredible and life-changing experience, and one that not only changed me, but lots of young children eager to simply, just read.
