Josh and Kareena came to me after being referred by an existing client. They were planning their wedding and were after an assortment of items - custom logo, wedding invites, RSVP cards, a directions and accommodation card, an envelope to post it all in and thank-you cards to top it all off.
I worked with Kareena and Josh via a email, as they lived further south in New Zealand. The entire process was easy for them and needless to say, we nailed this project pretty quick
The design created featured only one colour used cleverly and printed on soft 300gsm letterpress card for the invite, and ice silver card for everything else. The result - an absolutely stunning package.
I offered the couple an alternative design solution for their invite - traditional letterpress, and they loved the idea. It featured a halftone effect to get a shade of the purple colour, as well as using the solid colour to build the effect. The invite design was finished first using the floral design and script lettering, to provide the design theme for the other pieces.
The RSVP card was a two-sided postcard that could be dropped in the postbox, and a two-sided directions and accommodations card had a surprise "wishing well" poem on the reverse. The items were designed to fit within a custom shaped 'pocket' folded envelope. The invite was stuck to one 'flap' and the other cards slipped into the pocket. The envelope was sealed with a clear sticker with their logo printed on it.
"We love the design of the invite! Thankyou so much for everything! The purple colour is the exact same as the bridesmaids dresses - awesome."
