I had the honour to throw one of my best mates a baby shower for her first child.
It had to be gender neutral as we wait for the surprise on the day, so a clever little fox and woodland theme was dreamed up, after some inspiration online.
I created a custom invite, which was sent in a hand lettered envelope to entice the guests of what was to come! For the mumma-to-be, I had gifted her a custom ABC framed artwork, hinting at the theme to remember the baby shower by.
Gorgeous bunting in the theme colours and patterns, along with balloons in teal and blush helped set the theme, with upcycled glass jars full of orange and white flowers picked from the roadside and garden, added the touch of nature into the woodland theme.
An assortment of food and drinks were brought in by some guests, and to help cater for any with allergies, I made fresh fruit skewers, raw gingerbread bites and ferrero rocher bites, and mini kumara and spicy avo sliders.
For the drinks (in large mason jar dispensers), I tied string and lemon leaves to each milk bottle, topped with a coloured paper straw.
Games were hosted by another friend, and I designed 'Guess the gender' game cards in theme.
Thank you favours were some handmade fudge with a custom designed 'Thank you' card on each package.
To capture the day, and to document the special occasion for her mum back in the UK, I made sure to take all the photos you see here!
